About this experience
Jeddah's open-air sculpture museum gathers some of the monumental works that made the city famous as an outdoor gallery during its 1970s and 1980s beautification drive. Opened in 2013–2014 on a roughly 7,000-square-metre stretch of the Middle Corniche between the Hassan Enany Mosque and Al-Salam Palace, it displays about two dozen bronze and steel pieces. Artists include Henry Moore, Joan Miró, Alexander Calder, Victor Vasarely and César, alongside Arab artists. There are no walls, tickets or queues: just landscaped lawns by the sea, best enjoyed in the cooler evening air.
